My Mission
Tom is one of the Scottish QGIS User Group coordinators and has been running QGIS training and workshops in UK Higher and Further Education since 2012.Biography
Tom was a co-chair for the FOSS4G UK 2019 conference in Edinburgh and currently sits on the OSGeo UK committee. As well as events, Tom is active on Twitter and various QGIS user forums, helping users find solutions to problems they face.
Tom currently works as a technical writer at MapTiler and still teaches at the University of Edinburgh’s School of GeoSciences, where he is an honorary fellow helping with the MSc in GIS.
